Can I just sell you my items?
At times, we do buy estates, but it is not typical. Oftentimes the items go in auction on consignment.
How do you advertise my items?
We have various email outlets, as well as auctioneer postings. Our website is updated before each auction and we post the items on our ever-growing Facebook page. (Thank you Go Local Advertising!)
Do you clean or repair any items before they go up for auction?
We expect you to bring in clean and non-broken items for consignment. We only want quality merchandise.
Can people see my items before the auction starts?
Yes, people may look at the items up to 2 hours before the auction starts, and we post pictures on auctionzip.com, as well as Facebook.
What happens if my items don’t sell?
You need to check with us to see if it sold. If it didn’t, by the decision of the auctioneer, we may put it up again or you may need to pick it up from the property. If the item(s) are not picked up before the next auction, it becomes property of Magnolia Gardens Auction House. Please be responsible for checking on your items.
Can I come to the auction when my items are up for bid?
You may attend the auction but you may absolutely not bid on your own items. At Magnolia Gardens Auction House, we pride ourselves in keeping everything fair and legitimate. Consignors are not allowed to bid on their own items. It is best not to show emotion while your items are up for bid, it may discourage bidding.
